We had an eventful Easter today. It started by waking up to a fun goodie basket filled with candy. Reese ate almost every piece of candy in the whole basket before we could even get to church. She even ate her chocolate bunny!! We celebrated at church and then we headed to my parents house. On our way there my mom called and said they had a ton of trees down because of a tornado that came through that morning. When we got there, it was shocking. My dad is a forester and this was devastating for him and my mom because they lost some of their favorite trees – Some of these trees were 100+yrs old. In spite of that, we had a great lunch and enjoyed a fun time running around outside, fishing, ridding 4-wheelers, talking and watching TV. We also got to go to my aunt Nancy’s house to see her 1 day old horse. His name is Caesar and he is PRECIOUS! We had such a blessed Easter, but the best part of all is that JESUS IS ALIVE!
